Pulsar Aviation's Model P100101 Aircraft Temperature Test Set is a state of the art unit, designed to provide a cost-effective portable testing of aircraft thermoswitches and Type K thermocouple indication systems. The P100101 is actually two test sets in one:

  1. The thermoswitch testing function provides a portable convection current oven controlled by a digital PID process controller. This allows precise temperature selection without overshoot, virtually eliminating damage to thermoswitches caused by exceeding the thermoswitch upper limit during testing. The thermoswitch test function provides accuracy exceeding 0.4 degrees Celsius. The oven is rated to 400 degrees Fahrenheit or 205 degrees Celsius.
  2. The thermocouple indication system tester utilizes a high accuracy Type K thermocouple reader and an Alumel/Chromel test harness, allowing the user to test the accuracy of an aircraft thermocouple indication system, or when used in conjunction with the thermoswitch tester, to test a thermocouple within the range of the oven. The thermocouple reader is accurate to 0.4 degrees Celsius.
